Ryder to relocate headquarters to Coral Gables

Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions for businesses of all sizes, will relocate its corporate headquarters to Coral Gables.

The company has leased two floors at the Colonnade office tower at 2333 Ponce de Leon Blvd. just steps from Miracle Mile, the heart of the city’s Central Business District. It will be home to some 800 South Florida-based employees, many of whom will remain working remotely or in a hybrid-work capacity.

“Coral Gables is a nationally recognized and business-friendly city that will enable us to continue to attract and retain the best talent, and we look forward to calling it our new home next year,” says Ryder Chairman and CEO Robert Sanchez.

The office will be sized for a hybrid work style and be a showcase for Ryder technology and innovative solutions, which will bring customers and suppliers to Coral Gables.

“We look forward to officially welcoming Ryder to our family of corporate leaders,” said Mayor Vince Lago. “In addition to providing a great business environment, our city boasts a safe, walkable downtown with unique retail and restaurant options at every corner. This makes for a great environment for the Ryder team and their customers.”

The city is working in close coordination with the company to facilitate the permitting process. Ryder expects to move into their new office space in early 2024.

Ryder was founded in Miami in 1933 by Jim Ryder.
