The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recently announced that the City of Coral Gables has achieved LEED for Cities Gold certification. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the world’s most widely used green building rating system.

“Coral Gables is looking to create a more resilient and sustainable City Beautiful for current and future generations,” said Mayor Vince Lago. “This certification demonstrates our commitment to sustainability, human health, and economic prosperity.”
